CLEARFIELD – Officers involved in the Clearfield County Strike Force held DUI roving patrols over this past holiday weekend.
During the patrol, over 40 vehicles were stopped for various traffic violations, which resulted in two DUI arrests. Seventeen citations were also issued.
Officers also responded to two alcohol-related accidents.
The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force is made up of officers from each police department in Clearfield County. The goal of the strike force is to reduce the number of DUI-related deaths and injuries and to bring more awareness to the effects of driving under the influence.
