Josephine L. Taylor, Age 73 of Shaffer Ave., DuBois, PA died March 20, 2011 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on July 25, 1937 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert A. & Elizabeth “Mary” E. (Reasinger) Armagost.
On April 25, 1959, she married Charles A. Taylor, Sr. He survives.
She worked at Perkins Restaurant and McDonalds in DuBois.
She was a member of Bethany Covenant Church and enjoyed plastic canvas work and crocheting.
She loved to play BINGO and play cards with her family.
She is survived 5 children (Donna A. Burton and her husband Kenny of Washington, IN; June L. Frantz of Punxsutawney, PA; Patricia L. Perry and her husband Jeff of DuBois, PA; Charles A. Taylor, Jr. of Johnstown, PA; and Hope M. Taylor of DuBois, PA) 18 Grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 6 sisters; 3 grandsons (Eric Rheinbolt, Clyde Rheinbolt, & Charles Rheinbolt) and a granddaughter (Kaylee Frantz).
Visitation will be held on March 22 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on March 23 at 11 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Ostrom officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakelawn Memorial Park.
