CLEARFIELDÂ – CNB Bank received the Silver Shovel Award for the month of March. The Silver Shovel Award is a peer-to-peer program initiated by the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC) to promote storefront and sidewalk cleanliness during the winter months. The shovel has been passed by Taffy’s Salon & Spa, who won the award during the month of February.
Although the weather is starting to get warmer, there was a streak of snow, ice and freezing temperatures during the month of March. Kellie Truman, Main Street Manager for the CRC commented on how diligent CNB has been to keep their corner safe and spotless.
“CNB has done a wonderful job at keeping their storefront shoveled and salted for customers coming into the bank, and also for pedestrians who frequently walk the sidewalks of Market Street and Second Street. This is what Main Street is all about; CNB is looking out for their customers but also the many people who walk up and down their sidewalks as they are located in the heart of downtown Clearfield.”
“We take pride in our appearance and feel this is a reflection on our community and how we do business,” Joe Bower, president & CEO of CNB Bank went on to say, “Sam is out there every morning making sure the sidewalks are not only safe for pedestrians but also free of debris. It is very important to the Bank.”
