Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

Police reported possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:48 p.m. Monday in the parking lot adjacent to 13^th and Spruce Streets in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Because of a report about suspicious vehicles, an 18-year-old Philipsburg male was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, when he gave consent to search his vehicle. Charges are to be filed through the district court.
Police reported an incident of criminal mischief on approximately Feb 1 at a North Front Street address in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A 55-year-old Centre Hall male told police that someone kicked in two apartment doors before leaving the scene. The investigating is ongoing.
Police reported an attempted burglary sometime Monday or Tuesday at the American Legion on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. An unknown person(s) reportedly attempted to enter the American Legion by prying open a deadbolt lock on a door. The person(s) were unsuccessful and left the scene.
