Police Report: Sandy Township

On Wednesday, a 40-year-old DuBois woman reported that someone struck and damaged her vehicle, while it was parked at Wal-Mart. The suspect left without leaving any information.
Police responded to the area of the Friendly Tavern on Wednesday for a report of a man who had a shotgun over his shoulder. Officers searched the area but were not able to locate the man.
Police responded to a Treasure Lake residence for a domestic dispute on Wednesday. At arrival, officers found three intoxicated people; one had been injured and left the scene. The altercation reportedly started at the Ski Lodge, when an involved party became angry over his girlfriend flirting with other patrons. He reportedly punched out a window. All parties were separated for the night.
Police reported a false alarm at Pizza Hut on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a 25-year-old DuBois man was charged with criminal mischief and public drunkenness. He reportedly caused damage to the Friendly Tavern, when he was being escorted from the bar for being belligerent, when he was shut off.
