R. George Robison, 66, of Curwensville died Tuesday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh.
Born Aug. 8, 1944 in Clearfield, he was the son of George and Lenore (Bailor) Robison. Mr. Robison was a naval veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was retired from Keystone Builders as a mason and also had cooked at the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1785. He was a member of the Curwensville American Legion Post #505 and the Clearfield VFW Post #1785.
Surviving are three children, Robert Scott Robison of Brookville; Jennifer L. Ross and her husband, Ray of Sigel; and Michael Robison of the Poconos; one grandson, Shane Ross; three brothers, Howard Robison and his wife, Betty and Kenneth Robison and his wife, Linda, both of Clearfield; and Russell Robison and his wife, Shirley of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of Mr. Robison, there will be no public visitation. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at the Bigler Cemetery.
