SANDY TOWNSHIP – A 40-year-old Treasure Lake man and his passenger sustained moderate injuries and were both airlifted to Altoona following a single-vehicle accident on Thursday.
According to the Sandy Township Police Department, the man lost control of his vehicle after leaving the ski lodge. His vehicle subsequently traveled over an embankment, police said.
Charges for driving under the influence are currently pending the blood test results.
