The Clearfield YMCA and Ogden Legacy Insurance are proud to announce the newest local youth activity – the Allstate Youth Roller Hockey Program at the Clearfield YMCA.
The program is open to all area youths, but is focused on grades 2-7. Jerseys, sticks, and pucks are provided, and if your child needs rollerblades, Allstate will offset part of the cost. You should provide shin guards and a helmet for your child.
The program will be instructed by Jon McCaulley, who has been playing hockey for almost twenty years.
“I’m proud to help bring hockey to the Clearfield area”, said McCaulley. “Roller hockey is a great sport for youth, as it teaches teamwork, promotes good physical condition, and helps improve overall coordination. But most importantly – it’s a lot of fun.”
The sessions will run Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-8 PM through the month of March, and the cost is only $15 for Y members, $30 for non-members.
If you have questions, please contact Vanessa Johnson, Program Director of the Y, at 765-5521.
