CLEARFIELD – Ever want to be in on something from the get-go? Ever want to be a part of history? Do you love enriching others’ lives with cooking or baking?
You can do it all by e-mailing clfdfaircookbook@yahoo.com and submitting your recipe to the first-ever Clearfield County Fair Cookbook.
Categories are subject to change based on recipes received but have been tentatively been set as:
- Appetizers & Beverages
- Soups, Salads & Vegetables
- Main Dishes & Casseroles
- Meat, Poultry & Seafood
- Breads & Rolls
- Pies, Pastry & Desserts
- Cakes, Cookies & Candy
- Canned Items
Recipes should be an original to the person who is submitting them and not a direct copy of any cookbook or Web site. All submissions must include your name and town/city. This information will be printed with your recipe. The submission deadline is May 30. A maximum of 300 recipes will be printed. Fair officials tentatively plan to publish the inaugural Clearfield County Fair Book prior to this year’s event. Introductory production will be 300 copies. If you would like to be placed on a pre-order list, please note as such with your submission.
