– Police reported an incident of harassment at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Troopers investigated an incident during which two female juveniles allegedly engaged in a verbal argument, which became physical. Charges were filed with the district magistrate’s office.
– Police reported an incident of harassment at 3:40 p.m. Thursday in the area of Laurel Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. A male juvenile reportedly grabbed another by his neck and head area. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
– Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday at a Sleepy Hollow Road address in Rush Township, Centre County. A person(s) arrived at a 75-year-old Philipsburg man’s garage. Once there, the suspect(s) reportedly detached a snow plow from the victim’s 1998 Artic Cat 400 4X4 all-terrain vehicle.
The suspect(s) then opened the overhead door and apparently pushed the ATV outside and fled with the same. The stolen ATV is described with a camouflage-type skin over it. However, underneath the color is maroon-colored. The ATV is valued at $4,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
