- Police reported an incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition at 7:30 a.m. Friday at a Maple Street address in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. Someone reportedly trespassed on a 46-year-old man’s property and attempted to steal two, old bicycles. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police reported an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between 5 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Saturday at an Empire Road address in Morris Township, Clearfield County. A known suspect reportedly removed several items from the victims’ Hawk Run residence while visiting them. The incident is still under investigation.
- Police reported theft from a motor vehicle at approximately 12:45 p.m. Saturday at a Woodland-Bigler Highway address in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) reportedly removed four batteries from a vehicle at Modem Transportation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 4:55 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 15 at a Maple Hill Road address in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) allegedly pried open a door on the eastern side of a 44-year-old Mineral Springs man’s trailer. The suspect(s) located a Canon digital camera in a camouflage case and approximately $2,700 in both paper bills and coins throughout the trailer. The suspect(s) then fled the scene. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- Police reported an incident of fleeing and eluding at 7:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 53 and Rollingstone Road in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. Troopers reportedly encountered a 2008 Yamaha YF 250 traveling on SR 53. When attempting to stop the ATV, the 13-year-old male operator accelerated and led police on a pursuit, which covered approximately 10 miles. Troopers were able to stop the ATV and took the male into custody. The male juvenile will be charged with fleeing and eluding and numerous other summary traffic violations.
- Police reported a driving under the influence accident at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 16 on Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 120.2 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. A 41-year-old Woodland woman reportedly failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Her vehicle left the roadway on the southern berm and struck an embankment. At that time, her vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its wheels. When troopers spoke with the woman, it appeared that she was under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are to be filed pending blood test results.
