Walter Paul Licatovich, age 81 of Rumbarger Ave., DuBois, Pa died Feb. 13, 2011 at his residence.
Born on March 10, 1929 in DuBois, Pa, he was the son of the late Walter J. & Marcella B. (Chesnalavich) Licatovich.
On Oct. 4, 1952 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, he married Emma (Rasavage) Licatovich. She survives.Â
He was a Divisional Superintendent for the Jackson China Company in Falls Creek for 36 years.Â
He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, the National Rifle Association, the Sandy Hose Company Fireman’s Club, and the former Lithuanian Independence Club. He was previously involved the Oklahoma Tigers Midget Football Program for many years.Â
He is survived by 6 children (Lee Ann Smith and her husband Howard of DuBois, PA; David Licatovich and his wife Jeanine of Portland, OR; Susan Licatovich of Annandale, VA; Brian Licatovich of DuBois, Jane Licatovich of Reading, PA; and John Licatovich and his wife Kari of DuBois, PA) a brother (Donald J. Licatovich of Tyler, TX) 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister (Joanne Smith)Â
There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.Â
