HERSHEY — After a tough loss to Delaware Valley 36-26 on Thursday night, the Bisons ran into a buzzsaw in the opening round of consolations when they faced perennial state power Nazereth. Nazareth was dumped into the consolation bracket 26-25 by WPIAL champion Canon McMillan in Thursday night’s action.
The Bisons (11-4) could only manage two regular decisions, by Nolan Barger and Shane Harper, in being eliminated by the district 2 runners-up.
Nazareth went on to beat Cumberland Valley 41-10 and Greater Latrobe 36-15 on Friday to advance to the consolation semifinals, which are scheduled for Saturday morning at the Giant Center. The three-win day ensures Nazareth a top-6 finish.

The Bisons have a busy final week to the regular season ahead of them.

They will travel to Indian Valley on Tuesday, host Bellefonte on Thursday, the go to Philipsburg Saturday night to face the rival Mounties.
