Police Report: Ridgway PSP

Police reported an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Wednesday along Horner Road, approximately one-quarter mile north of Old Kane Road in Jones Township, Elk County. A person(s) arrived at a 26-year-old Wilcox woman’s residence and gained entry through a locked door. Once inside, the person(s) allegedly removed a laptop computer and money and damaged several items inside the residence. The person(s) then fled the scene. Police reported an incident of access device fraud that occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Feb. 8 at a Garfield Street residence in Jay Township, Elk County. An unknown person(s) allegedly charged $299.99 to a 54-year-old Byrnedale woman’s credit card account for an online purchase.
