Police Report: Clearfield PSP

Police reported a hit-and-run accident that occurred at approximately 1 a.m. Friday along Main Street in Coalport Borough, Clearfield County. A black, Dodge pick-up reportedly struck two parking meters and the front of the Glendale Medical Center before fleeing the scene and traveling north on state Route 53. The pick-up was described with chrome stacks in its bed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Thursday at a Kylertown-Drifting Highway residence in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. A known female suspect was allegedly at a 48-year-old Kylertown woman’s residence. When the suspect left, the victim noticed that seven of her Diazepam pills were missing. The investigation is ongoing.
