CLEARFIELD – He has long been country music’s alpha male, a man whose commanding presence and once-in-a-generation baritone have made him a pillar of the contemporary Nashville sound. With the release of his latest, Cowboy’s Back In Town, Trace Adkins launches a new chapter in one of the genre’s most storied careers. He teamed with his friend Blake Shelton on the latter’s recent single, “Hillbilly Bone,” which went to the top of the charts and was named ACM Vocal Event of the Year, and, to top it all off, he was voted Country’s Sexiest Man by the readers of Country Weekly.
Since late 2005, Kellie Pickler has been living life in fast forward. Landing a spot on the 5th season of American Idol, Kellie made it all the way to the top six, a finish good enough to guarantee her a place on the American Idol tour. Her unmistakable talent and star quality also earned her a recording contract in Nashville. Kellie burst onto the scene as the country cutie on “American Idol,” and since leaving the show, she’s released two albums and won three CMT Music Awards.
Big Time Rush is living proof of the proverb “good things come to those who wait.” The process of finding Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson began three years ago, and now, after an incredibly successful first season on their hit Nickelodeon show of the same name, the band is finally ready to unveil their debut album entitled BTR. To understand Big Time Rush is to know their smash series, which boasts the highest-rated and most-watched live-action premiere in the history of the network, attracting 6.8 million viewers. Big Time Rush is excited to take their music to the stage, not just to perform live before their fans, but to also show them who they are outside of their on-screen personas.
