DUBOIS – According to a report from Gant news partner WJACTV.com, a house fire claimed the life of a person near DuBois on Saturday night.
According to the report, flames broke out inside a home at 30 Pentz Run Ave. in Sandy Township around 8 p.m. It stated that initial reports indicate the one person was inside the burning building and was unable to escape. A WJAC-TV news crew was informed that one person was killed in the fire and that the home was heavily damaged. As of the initial report, officials did not release the name of the victim.
The fire is under investigation by a state police fire marshal.
