‘The Vagina Monologues’ Reading Benefits Anti-violence Organizations

CLARION – Clarion University’s 11th annual benefit reading of “The Vagina Monologues” will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 9-11 in Hart Chapel on the Clarion campus.

“The Vagina Monologues” is an award-winning play based on playwright and V-Day founder Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women. The purpose of the show is to spread awareness and end violence against women all over the globe. It will make you laugh, cry, think and appreciate. Student director is Carly Masiroff.

Tickets are $5 for Clarion University students and $8 for the public. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in the Gemmell Student Center from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 7-9. To reserve tickets for pick-up at the door, call 814-393-2720 or e-mail kshirey@clarion.edu.
