CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough Council adopted an ordinance on Thursday night to make construction projects and subdivisions move faster.
With its new subdivision and land development ordinance, plans that are presented to Clearfield Borough’s Planning Commission can be approved by the planning commission. Prior to the ordinance, the plans had to be forwarded to the Clearfield County Planning Commission.
Borough Solicitor F. Cortez “Chip” Bell III noted that the ordinance is similar to the Lawrence Township’s SALDO.
The borough’s SALDO takes effect 60 days from Jan. 20.
