CLEARFIELD – After 16 years on Clearfield Borough Council, Jim Leitzinger will not seek re-election.
Leitzinger, council’s president, made the announcement at Thursday nigth’s Clearfield Borough Council meeting. He stated that seats are open in all four wards in Clearfield Borough, and urged residents to run for them.
“I will not be a candidate,” said Leitzinger. “I feel very strongly in term limits.”
He added,”I think this should be done so we have some new faces in here.”
