I-80 Westbound Closed in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD – Both westbound lanes of Interstate 80 in Clearfield County are closed at this hour between exit 111 at Penfield and exit 101 at DuBois.  The closure is due to a multi-vehicle crash.  

Westbound motorists are being detoured from I-80 at the 111 exit, using the orange detour.  The detour follows state Route 153 north to SR 255 south and back to I-80 westbound at the 101/DuBois interchange.  

Information on the closure and detour is available on the Highway Advisory Radio System at 1640 on the AM dial. 

Motorists should be alert for slowed or stopped traffic along I-80 and along the detour route.  

PennDOT does not expect to re-open the road until 5 p.m. today.
