- A Falls Creek man struck a deer while traveling on Wayne Road, causing the deer to hit several mailboxes, damaging the mailboxes and the bumper of his car. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 13, 2011
- A 25-year-old DuBois man was seen by Wal-Mart employees taking merchandise. Charges are pending.
- A Maple Avenue home was broken into while the homeowners were away. The investigation continues.
- A 16-year-old DuBois girl and 22-year-old Reynoldsville woman took several items from Wal-Mart without paying for them, then returned and attempted to take more. Both admitted to the theft of $296.76 in merchandise. Charges are pending.
