Police filed charges against a 48 year old Clearfield man for Indirect Criminal Contempt for a PFA violation that occured on Jan. 5.
Police investigated a single vehicle accident on Turnpike Avenue. The driver was traveling south when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered roadways. His vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The driver was not injured. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
Police assisted a motorist as Sheetz that had locked her keys inside a vehicle.
Police responded to a domestic dispute on East Locust Street. Police report that a female was getting out of her boyfriend’s vehicle when he advised her that she was not taking her child with her. The boyfriend then started to drive away with the female partly outside of the vehicle. When the boyfriend did stop, the female obtained the child and the boyfriend fled the area prior to police arrival. Charges are pending the investigation.

Police arrested a 52 year old for several charges after police found the man staggering along Daisy Street. When police confronted the man he became combative, grabbing one of the officer’s arms. The man was subdued with force and taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of marijuana and a pipe.
