Charles E. Waple, 69, of Woodland died on Jan. 6, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on July 14, 1941 in Bigler, a son of the late Clifford and Josephine (Moslak) Waple.Â
Mr. Waple retired from TAFCO, Inc., Hyde after 36 years of service where he was a union sheet metal worker. He also worked at the former Sam’s Furniture, Philipsburg. He was a veteran of the United States Army.Â
He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Schenck) Waple, whom he wed May 21, 1999,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Jane (Stevens) Waple on Feb. 25, 2002 and whom he wed May 26, 1959.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the Bigler Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10-11 a.m.Â
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Clearfield American Legion, 210 South Second Street, Clearfield.Â
