Beth Elaine Lezzer Rebon, 71, of Curwensville, died Friday at the Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus.
Born Nov. 4, 1939 in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late and Ruth (Keesler) Newton.
Mrs. Rebon was a homemaker and had worked in the Curwensville Area High School cafeteria until 1989. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Curwensville and also of the Curwensville Women of the Moose.
She was first wed to Richard N. Lezzer, who preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brother-in-laws, Walter Coldren and James Blum.
She then wed Robert R. Rebon on April 29, 1989, who survives along with two sons, Robert Lezzer and his wife, Holly and Edward Lezzer, both of whom are from Curwensville.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Paige, Brian, Jordan, Olivia, Cole, Tyler and Tanner Lezzer; three brothers and four sisters, Richard Newton and his wife, Annabelle of Bradford; Lynn Newton and his wife Billie of Mesquite, NV; Rodney Newton and his wife, Elaine of Smethport; Barbara Frank and her husband, Lynn of Clearfield; Mary Jane Coldron of Murrysville; Nancy Blum of Warren; and Sandy Clancy and her husband, Ed of Bradford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville, with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
