Charles E. “Chick” Young, 93, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1917 in McKeesport, a son of the late Edward and Mildred (Ginn) Young.
Mr. Young was employed at Benjamin Coal Company from 1976-1984. He also worked as an Insurance Salesman and owned a Mobile Home Business. He served as the caretaker for the Friends Cemetery, Grampian. He was a past member of the Kiwanis Club, Clearfield.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve R. ‘Jean’ (Toto) Young, whom he wed July 24, 1957 in Cumberland, MD,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Daniel Young and a brother Roger Young.
A memorial service will be held the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 5 p.m. with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee, Jr. as celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3-5 p.m.
