Erma R. Good, 94 of Philipsburg and formerly of Wallaceton, passed away on Jan. 4, 2011 at residence.
Born Jan. 25, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Carrie (Knepp) Williams.
She was formerly a member of the Wallaceton Methodist Church for many years, where she served as a communion steward. Presently, she attended the Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Philipsburg.
Before her eyesight failed, she loved to sew and garden. She took great pride in cooking and having family and friends in to eat.
Erma will be remembered for the love she showed to everyone and the many times she said how much she loved her man nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker by trade.
On March 4, 1937 in Wallaceton, she wed the late Ray D. Good, who passe away on May 21, 1984.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Austin H, Garman L., Bertis A. “Coby”, Clyde D., Martin Luther “Ted”, Wallace D. “Sal”, and Norman “Paul” Williams; sister Nellie E. Hummel; and three infant siblings, Lenard, Willard and Maxine Williams.
She was survived by daughter Joyce M. Coudriet and her husband Dick of Philipsburg; numerous nieces and nephews; her dedicated caregivers, Donna Wood, Sandy Swansegar, Eva Mae Coudriet and Pam Grannis.
She was the last of her generation.
Services will be held on Jan. 7 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating.
Burial will be at the Crown Crest Cemetery in Hyde.
Visitation will held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
