- Police investigated a two vehicle accident on state Route 53 in Phlipsburg Borough. The accident occurred on East Presqueisle Street and South Center St. A 17-year-old woman from Ruther Glen, VA failed to yield the right of way and made a left turn striking a vehicle driven by a 60-year-old woman from Philipsburg. There were no injuries.
