Alice S. Houser, 85 of of Colonial Courtyard, Clearfield and formerly of West Decatur, passed away on Dec. 31, 2010 at Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield
Born March 24, 1925 in West Decatur, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick E. and Amy (Morrow) Snyder.
She was married June 14, 1947 in West Decatur to Frederick W. Houser, who died March 25, 2005.
She is survived by:
Her son, David E. Houser and wife Jacalyn of West Decatur
Her Granddaughter, Rebecca Lutchko and husband Gabriel of Clearfield
Her Great Grandson, Ethan Lutchko
She is the last of her generation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Edward and Thomas Snyder.
She was a graduate of Philipsburg High School.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg where she was the oldest member and served on all the church boards.
She was a bookkeeper at the General Refactories, West Decatur and the First National Bank of Philipsburg
Friends will be received at David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, PA 16866, on Jan. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Jan. 4 from 10 to 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Bradford Cemetery in Woodland.
Funeral services will be held at the David K Dahlgren Funeral Home on Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tracie Bullis officiating.
