ALTOONA – The first Blair County baby of 2011 was born at 1:12 p.m. Jan. 1 in Altoona Regional Health System’s Maternity department.Â
Zoey Leanne Kennedy was born to Danielle and Alex Kennedy of Altoona. She weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 18 inches long.
As the first baby born at Altoona Regional, the family received the following gifts:
- Mother: a dozen red roses and a $50 gift certificate from Target
- Father: a $50 gift certificate from Target
- Baby: a $200 savings bond
- A newborn picture taken at the hospital at no charge.
There was one other baby born here Jan. 1. Her family received the following:
- Mother: ½ dozen red roses and a $25 gift certificate from Target
- Father:Â $25 gift certificate from Target
- Baby:Â Â $75 savings bond
- Newborn picture taken at the hospital at no charge.
