CLEARFIELD – There is still time to donate to the Clearfield County SPCA’s holiday Wish Tree at Waggin’ Trains pet supply store, 1226 S. Second Street in Clearfield.
Response so far has been good but items on the organization’s wish list are always in demand, said SPCA Executive Director Pam Smith.
The list includes paper towels, paper plates, copy paper, postage stamps, bleach, 33-gallon and larger trash bags, clay cat litter, rock salt, Kong brand toys, and clean towels and blankets in good condition.
“Of course, money is always needed and appreciated,” Smith noted.
The SPCA depends solely on donations to operate. It has no parent organization and receives no public funds except for some donations from a few Clearfield County municipalities.
The tree will remain up until Jan. 3, when the gifts will be taken to the SPCA shelter. Items may be dropped off during business hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
