Harold E. Bowes, Sr., age 65, of Philipsburg and formerly of Howard, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 1, 1945 he was the son of the late William and Fannie Bowes.
He had worked for Garner Street Parking, State College and was the owner of Pappy”s General Store in Osceola Mills.
On February 1, 1974 he wed Elizabeth Nyman who preceded him in death in 2001.
He is survived by two sons, Ralph C. Bowes and Harold E. Bowes, Jr. both of Philipsburg; a brother Clair K. Bowes and his wife Robin of Osceola Mills and two grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.Â
