Police Reports: Clearfield Borough Police

Police are investigating a two vehicle accident that occurred at Market and Front Streets. A vehicle traveling West failed to stop for a steady red light and collided with another vehicle traveling south on Front Street. Citations are pending.
Police issued parking tickets for vehicles parked in a no parking zone on Van Valzah Avenue.
Police arrested ‘Fugitive of the Week”- Henry Cutler on Monday. Police received a tip that Cutler was inside an apartment on East Cherry St. Police checked the apartment and Cutler was not there. Police searched the area and located Cutler walking on Park Ave. He was taken into custody and turned over the Clearfield County Sheriffs Department. Lawrence Township Police assisted in taking Cutler into Custody.
Police received several calls concerning a bear in the parking lot of the Shaw Public Library. Police provided a safety zone for the bear until he made it through the downtown area.
