Jesse L. Hummel, 71 of West Decatur died on Dec. 11, 2010 at Clearfield Hospital.
He was born on February 23, 1939 in Clearfield, a son of the late Paul and Lillian (Kephart) Hummel.
Mr. Hummel was employed as a truck driver for various companies around Clearfield, retiring in 2002. Previously, he worked for various coal mines for 15 years.
He is survived by nine children:

Kathleen Geer and husband Delbert Jr. Stanton

Elmer Parks and wife Kera KS

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a son Joe Hummel and a brother Gordon Hummel.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor James Walk officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 – 11:00 a.m.
