WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – The Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois have filed charges of homicide by vehicle while DUI and aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI against Emily C. Kerr, age 22, of Brookville.
Kerr is accused of operating a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Point View Road East of Burning Gas Well Road on July 14, 2009 when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed causing the death of one of her passengers and seriously injuring another passenger. Kerr was also charged with DUI, and summary violations of driving vehicle safe speed and careless driving. Kerr was placed in the Jefferson County Jail.
Kerr has a prior arrested for DUI on April 10, 2010 by The Pennsylvania State Police, DuBois. In Oct. 20, 2010 she was sentence by the Honorable John H. Foradora to 15 days to six months confinement.
