University Park, Pa. — The Penn State Student Outback Bowl Ticket Sale will be held this Saturday, Dec. 11, from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office (University Park Campus).
Tickets are $70 each and there is a limit of two tickets per student. Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit cards. Lion Cash will not be accepted for the purchase of Outback Bowl Tickets.
Penn State students interested in purchasing Outback Bowl Tickets should bring their valid Penn State Student ID with them to the sale. Student Nittany Lion Club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets first, but must be present at the start of the sale to take advantage of this exclusive member-only benefit. Students wishing to sit with their friends must purchase seats as a group at the same time as tickets will be issued at the time of purchase.
Penn State Student Outback Bowl ticket sales are on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the Penn State Student Outback Bowl ticket allotment has been exhausted, the sale will end.
If demand for Penn State Student Outback Bowl tickets exceeds supply at the time that tickets go on sale, a lottery will be implemented. All students will be assigned a number and then one of the numbers distributed will be randomly selected, becoming the first person in line with all others lining up sequentially behind them. The student holding #1 will follow the last lottery number handed out and the order will remain sequential.

The general public can purchase tickets beginning today at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets or by calling 814-865-5555. Phone orders can be made weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Current Nittany Lion Club members and season ticket holders can purchase Outback Bowl tickets online now www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets. In order to purchase tickets online, buyers will need to have their account number and password. Nittany Lion Club members also can purchase tickets by phone weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. by calling 814-865-5555. The deadline for all online and phone orders is Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
Penn State and Florida will meet in the 25th Outback Bowl on Saturday, January 1, 2011. The contest will kick at 1 p.m. ET in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium (65,657) and will air on ABC and the Penn State Sports Network. Coach Joe Paterno’s squad will be meeting a Southeastern Conference opponent in a bowl game for the third time in the past six years.
