Police Reports: Ridgway PSP

A gate was damaged on a private road off state Route 948 south of Long Level Road in Ridgway Township.
Two teenage men were cited for retail theft Wednesday morning at 12:02 am at the Walmart Super Center, Fox Township. The men attempted to steal a X-Box 360 game console, X-Box 360 games and Play Station 2 and 3 games.
A pedestrian received major injuries in an accident on SR 255 near the Valley Grille Parking lot Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A 33-year-old Clearfield woman was traveling South on SR0255 and observed the pedestrian standing in her lane. She attempted to avoid the pedestrian, a 48-year-old woman from Weedville, by swerving into the North bound lane but was unable to avoid contact., Bennettes Valley Ambulance service transported the pedestrian to the hospital.
Police investigated a one vehicle accident of SR 948 in Jones Twp on Tuesday at 1230 pm. A 67 year old woman from Warren was traveling North on SR 948 and was traveling too fast for the wet roadway and lost control of her vehicle. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. She received minor injuries and was transported to the Kane Hospital by Ridgway Ambulance Co. A passenger was also injured and transported to the hospital by private vehicle
