CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers to be alert for changing road conditions throughout the day today, including flooding and a mix of falling temperatures and snow. A number of roadways are closed or restricted due to overnight rain and flooding.  Drivers can check on closed or restricted conditions in their area by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD (1-800-349-7623 before heading out.Â
Temperatures will be falling through the day and may be accompanied by snow. Drivers are urged to allow for extra travel time and proceed with caution.Â
PennDOT reminds motorists that state law requires drivers to turn on their headlights anytime their vehicles wipers are in continuous or intermittent use due to weather or other atmospheric conditions such as fog or mist.
