Robert L. Fink, age 77, of Clearfield passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born March 7, 1933 he was the son of the late Leroy and Glenolen Fink.
He was a 1951 graduate of the Clearfield High School and served as a Patrolman with the Clearfield Police Department and later as Chief of Police in Tyrone. He retired as a machinest with the Chicago Rivett Company in Tyrone.
Mr. Fink was also an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Tyrone American Legion, PA Fraternal Order of Police and a life member of the Clearfield Fire Company #1.
On November 17, 1962 he wed Sally D. Witherow who preceded him in death on March 26, 2010.
He is survived by a daughter, Carrie Lynn Shetler of Georgia; two sons Michael S. Fink and his wife Karol of Manheim and Robert S. Fink of Tyrone; three sisters, Idabell Campbell and her husband Edward of DuBois, Floda Shirey of Clearfield and Jackie Fowler of Clearfield and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in the Thompson Cemetery, Glen Richey.
The Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills is in charge of the arrangements.
