Doris Jane Frank, age 80, of Philipsburg passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the Tyrone Hospital.
Born September 21, 1930 she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Tubo.
On August 19, 1952 she wed James N. Frank, who survives at home.
She is also survived by a brother, Edward Tubo and his wife Katherine of Gearhartville and a sister, Virginia Adams of Brisbin; her special caregivers, Sandra Hallman, Marsha Ball, Jennifer Zimmerman, and Mary Ostrom; and severl nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Philipsburg High School in 1950.
She retired in 1974 from Federal Service, where she was an oral surgery assistant.
She attended the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Philipsburg and was a member of the Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita, Kansas where she was a communion assistant and a marriage counselor.
Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, Pa 16866 on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00am with Pastor Gerald A. Krum officiating. Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm.
