AUSTIN – Sinnemahoning State Park will offer an “Almost Winter Walk” at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Participants are to join the park naturalist at the 40 Maples Day-Use Area for an interpretive hike along the Red Spruce Trail.
Along the way, participants will learn about the different ways that plants and animals prepare for the upcoming harsh winter weather. This program is suitable for young children.
Participants are asked to please dress appropriately for cold weather and trail walking. For more information on this or other programs, please contact the park office at 814-647-8401.
