Clearfield County will receive a state grant to reimburse costs in assuring compliance with sewage regulations, announced state Sen. John N. Wozniak .
The Clearfield County Sewage Committee will receive $4,732 to reimburse half the expense of performing the sewage enforcement provisions of Act 537.
“Pennsylvania has tightened regulations on sewage to protect the environment and assure clean drinking water,” Wozniak said. “Providing grants to help with compliance is a good investment in local communities and a promise to our children that we intend to leave a cleaner community for them.”
