CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Nov. 1, 2010.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Raymond W. Bloom, age 29, of State Street, Curwensville. Shaw stated that Bloom is wanted for failure to appear at criminal call on Sept. 16, 2010.
On March 15, 2010, Officer Michael Morris of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a criminal complaint charging Bloom with: 1) retail theft, M1; and 2) receiving stolen property, M1.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by Morris states that on Feb. 14, 2010, the Lawrence Township Police received a report that Bloom had stolen a computer from the Walmart store, located in Lawrence Township. Upon further investigation, Morris interviewed a witness who observed Bloom removing the computer.
A preliminary hearing was held on April 14, 2010, at which time Bloom waived the charges to court. On Sept. 16, 2010, Bloom failed to appear for Criminal Call and a warrant was issued for Bloom’s arrest.
