Police Report: Ridgway State Police

Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Oct. 21 and 8 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 948 in Ridgway Township, Elk County. A person(s) allegedly removed 10 sheets of 4-foot by 8-foot sheets of plywood from an AMSTAR of Western New York construction site along the roadway. The estimated value of the stolen property is to be $30. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ridgway State Police at 814-776-6136.
Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 10 – 10:30 p.m. at the Red Fern Banquet Hall on Old Kersey Road in Fox Township, Elk County. A person(s) allegedly arrived and removed a purse, which belonged to a DuBois woman. The total value of the stolen property is $79. The incident is still under investigation.
