Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

Police reported an incident of harassment at approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Philipsburg-Osceola football field in Rush Township, Centre County. Two known males allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old male outside of the stadium on the practice field. The victim was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel for minor injuries. Someone separated the accused from the victim; they and any other witnesses are asked to contact police at 814-342-3370.
Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 12:39 a.m. Sunday on United States Route 322 in worth Township, Centre County. A 56-year-old Boalsburg man was observed operating a black, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He reportedly committed several traffic violations. After making contact with him, police determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody for DUI. Charges will be filed through the district court.
