Edwina T. O’Neill, age 90, of Osceola Mills passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born April 30, 1920 she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Bagrosky.
She graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School and retired as a sales clerk for the former Ziff’s Store in Philipsburg.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills.
In 1947 sshe wed Joseph R. O’Neill who preceded her in death in 1968.
She is survived by three daughters, Rose Mary Shuey and her husband Kenneth of Philipsburg, Anne Marie Kucas and her husband Thomas of Osceola Mills and Geraldine Moore and her husband Alan of Osceola Mills; a son, Joseph M. O’Neill and his wife Carol of Warriors Mark; two sisters, Mae O’Neill of Bellefonte and Leona Irvin and her husband Thomas of Philipsburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, William L. O’Neill and two brothers, David and Al Bagrosky.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills.
