Gerald F. “Jerry” Putillion, 68, of Osceola Mills died Monday in Yarmouth, MA.
Born on June 23, 1942, he was the son of the late Elmer and Evelyn (Nolan) Putillion. He was Christian by faith; he served in the United States Navy.
He graduated from the Philipsburg-Osceola High School in the class of 1961. He retired as the head custodian of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
On March 9, 1963, he wed Joann E. (Camoron) Putillion. She survives him at home in Osceola Mills.
Mr. Putillion is survived by three daughters, Kim Zelenky and her husband, Robert of Grassflat; Tina Zimmerman and her husband, Richard of Williamsport; and Sue Maines and her husband, Edward of Osceola Mills. He is survived by two sons, Jerry Putillion and his wife, Daisy of Osceola Mills and Jeffrey Putillion and his companion, Theresa of Osceola Mills. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Donald J. Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
