Thomas E. Reay, Age 64, North State Street, DuBois, PA died Sept. 19, 2010 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on Sept. 11, 1946 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Peter O. & Julia J. (Hrin) Reay.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War.
He made his home with his long time companion, Patricia Neal.
He was a well known insurance salesman in the area for over 30 years.Â
He was a 1964 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School, and a graduate of Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, PA.
He enjoyed basketball, playing for over 40 years. He enjoyed going to the YMCA daily, and was a past member of the DuBois YMCA Board of Directors. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was an avid Boston Celtics Fan.
He is survived by numerous cousins and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Visitation will be held on Sept. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A scriptural wake service will be held Tuesday evening at 5:45 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.Â
Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
