PHILIPSBURG – An investigation is currently ongoing into an attempted robbery that occurred at 4:12 a.m. Sunday at a Henrietta Street residence in Chester Hill Borough, the Clearfield State Police reported.
According to the incident report, an unknown male allegedly entered a Philipsburg man’s residence and demanded pain pills. The suspect then allegedly threatened to hurt the man if he failed to do so, police said.
Police said the victim related that he did not have any pain pills. Once he realized the same, the accused fled the scene.
In the report, police described the suspect as a white male who is approximately 16 to 23 years old. He stands approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and has a thin build.
Police said the man was wearing pants and a hooded sweatshirt; both were black in color. He was also wearing glasses and black socks over his hands.
The suspect was described with a high-pitched voice and is believed to possibly live in the Chester Hill Borough area, police said.
