Thomas E. Reay, 64, of DuBois died Sunday, at Christ the King Manor.
Born on Sept. 11, 1946 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Peter O. and Julia J. (Hrin) Reay. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had served in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Reay was a well-known insurance salesman in the area for more than 30 years. He was a 1964 graduate of the DuBois Central Catholic High School and a graduate of Alliance College in Cambridge Springs.
He enjoyed basketball, playing for over 40 years. In addition, he enjoyed going to the YMCA daily and was a past member of the DuBois YMCA Board of Directors. He was an avid Boston Celtics fan.
Mr. Reay is survived by numerous cousins and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A scriptural wake service will also be held at 5:45 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
